Commenting Anthropic's Destructive Scanning Controversy

I participated on an interview on Radio-Canada’s Première Chaîne Québec City, interviewed by Olivier Lemieux on C’est Encore Mieux l’Après-Midi on August 6. I dissected the controversy surrounding the use of descrtructive scanning by Anthropic to scan old books. The conversations also touched on aspects of copyright and the risks related to the deployment of advanced AI systems.
