Submit or act: building our digital sovereignty in the age of AI
- Philippe Beaudoin

As part of the Francophonie Month, the National Library and Archives of Quebec (BAnQ) is dedicating a half-day of reflection to this essential theme: the use of data by artificial intelligence and its effects on Quebec’s digital sovereignty.
While AI generates, classifies, and disseminates content at unprecedented speeds, and at a time when data is being indiscriminately harvested, a pressing question arises: do we want to suffer these transformations or join forces to build a digital sovereignty that reflects our values, our language, and cultural diversity?
