Relational Consciousness, a discussion

Following a podcast conversation with McGill’s Building 21 director, Ollivier Dyens, I was invited to present my recent work on relational consciouness to the program’s fellows. The presentation itself was a of rehearsal for my presence at an upcoming IVADO workshop, but the lengthy and engaged discussion that followed was very enriching for my own ideas on this topic.

I want to take this opportunity to thanks all the students and fellows who participated with genuine curiosity and interest. Thanks also to Ollivier and all the amazing staff of Building 21 for creating such a thoughtful and creative space.

The world sorely needs places like that, and I can only hope that universtities choose to nurture them, the way McGill did for the 9 years of existence of Building 21.
